This Privacy Policy explains what information Just a Girl Studio (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects when you use our Service, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Just a Girl Studio is a sole proprietorship operated by Janine Swearingin and based in the State of Florida, United States. The data controller responsible for your information is the sole proprietorship.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

• Email address (provided during signup)
• Name (if provided via Google Sign-In)
• Authentication tokens managed by Supabase

Generated content

• Reference images you upload
• Generated images and videos
• The prompts and settings used to generate them

Usage data

• Records of generations (model, timestamp, success/failure) for billing and rate-limit enforcement
• IP address (logged by our hosting provider for security)
• Browser/device info via standard HTTP headers (user-agent, referrer)

Payment information

We do not store credit card numbers or banking details. All payments are processed by Stripe, who handles card data and PCI compliance. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded, plus the dollar amount and pack purchased.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Service
• To send you account-related emails (signup, approval, receipts)
• To enforce credit limits and prevent abuse
• To investigate and respond to support requests
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models.

3. Subprocessors

We share specific data with the following service providers:

• Anthropic (Claude) — receives the reference images you upload, for analysis. Processed transiently; not stored by Anthropic per their API terms.
• Google (Gemini, Veo) — receives reference images and prompts for image and video generation.
• OpenAI (Sora) — receives reference images and prompts for video generation.
• Stripe — receives payment details directly from you (we never see your card).
• Resend — sends transactional email on our behalf (signup notifications, approval notices, receipts).
• Supabase — hosts our database and authentication backend.
• Vercel — hosts the application and serves traffic.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies only for authentication (Supabase session cookies keeping you signed in). We do not use third-party advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Vercel automatically records server-side request logs for performance and security monitoring.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated content remains accessible to you while you have an account. Usage logs and credit transaction records are retained for up to seven (7) years for accounting and audit purposes. You may request account deletion at any time (see Section 6).

6. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Access your account data — most of it is visible in your account settings; request the rest by email
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account, which removes your profile and generated content (transaction logs may be retained for legal purposes)
• Export your generated content via the download buttons in the app

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection laws, you have additional rights including the right to object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. International Data Transfers

Our subprocessors operate globally. By using the Service, you understand that your data may be processed in the United States and other countries with different data protection laws than your home country.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice.
