Refund Policy

Effective April 28, 2026

We want you to be happy with your Promptly experience. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.

1. Free Credits

Free credits granted as part of your account allowance are not eligible for refunds, since they are not paid for. Free credits reset on a periodic basis (currently monthly).

2. Paid Credit Packs — Within 7 Days, Unused

If you purchase a credit pack and have not used any of the credits from that purchase, we will refund the full amount within 7 days of the purchase date. To request a refund, email us with your order details (the email address on your account plus the date of purchase).

3. Paid Credit Packs — Partially Used

Once you have used any portion of the credits from a paid pack, the pack is considered consumed and is not eligible for refund. We recommend starting with the smallest pack (Spark) if you are unsure whether the Service fits your needs.

4. Failed Generations

If a generation fails due to a technical error on our end or our AI providers' end (timeout, content moderation block, network failure), the credit is automatically refunded to your account balance. You do not need to request these refunds; they happen automatically and are visible in your usage history.

5. Output Quality

Generative AI is unpredictable. Output quality varies and may not match your expectations. Dissatisfaction with output quality alone is not grounds for a refund of consumed credits. We strongly recommend reviewing the generated prompt preview and starting with low-credit experiments before committing to large runs.

6. Subscriptions

We do not currently offer subscriptions. All paid credits are one-time purchases.

7. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or card issuer, your account may be suspended pending resolution. We strongly prefer you contact us first — most issues can be resolved by email faster than through a chargeback.

8. How to Request a Refund

Email hello@justagirlstudio.com with:

  • The email address on your account
  • The date and approximate amount of the purchase
  • The reason for your request

We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your card within 5-10 business days.
